Nominated for a Bafta for John le Carre’s A Perfect Spy Michael won an Ivor Novello Award ( best t.v.theme music ) for Civvies and provided scores for the highly acclaimed Tender Loving Care, Sticky Wickets and Linda la Plante’s She’s Out which achieved top ten t.v. ratings.
As well as two series of How Do You Want Me? (a successful comedy drama) and the hit children’s films The Gift and Raspberry Ripple (starring Faye Dunaway) he has completed a number of wild life films including the multi award winning Fishing Owl ! He also wrote the theme for the long running kids’ show Freetime !
Michael has written music for more than a 100 TV commercials including the Guinness Genius, Levis , British Airways, Shell ,Ford, Audi and Barclays campaigns.
